Partying during the Golden Age of Hollywood
Going to a party during the old-Hollywood era was an exciting and glamorous experience. Women were dressed in elegant evening gowns and beaded dresses, often with intricate detailing. They wore long gloves, feathers in their hair and long pearls. Hairdos were intricate and often styled with waves, curls and updos. Makeup was subtle, with a strong focus on the eyes. Men were dressed in tuxedos and suits, completing the classic look. The atmosphere was sophisticated and often featured a live orchestra playing classic music. There was a feeling of glamour and sophistication as guests mingled and danced, with a hint of romance in the air.
